Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, computer privileges.

Who can get a card
Anyone that lives in Burleson County.

How to Get Your Card
If you live within the actual city limits there is no charge for a library card. Applicants out of the city limits may apply for a library card for a fee of $5.00 per year, per family. All applicants must provide a photo id. and a piece of mail with their correct mailing address.

Borrowing Limits
New patrons to the library are limited to 4 items for the first 3 months (of which only 2 can be movies) until a good borrowing record is established. After 3 month trial, patrons may check out up to 15 items, 4 of which may be movies.

Placing Holds

Items may be placed on hold for 2 to 5 days, new releases will be held for 2 days.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Items may be renewed two (2) times if the item is not on reserve. DVDs and VHS movies CANNOT be renewed.

Library Fines

.10 cents per day, per item, not including days library is closed.

Internet Uses

Use of the Internet requires that a patron have an account in good standing (no unpaid fines or fees) as well as a signed internet policy form on file.
